Glendale's Earl Grey
"Earl" is a 14.3+, 5yo purebred Connemara gelding sired by Concord River Roaringwater Bay out of Glendale's Mary Magdalene, by Aladdin.
Earl is very sweet, curious, and friendly. Though green, he's an exceptionally quick learner and tries his best to please. He's a cute mover and has a lovely, uphill balanced canter. Earl is learning about dressage and knows how to go in a frame, basic lateral movements, and has nice transitiions. He's jumping small courses and will be showing this summer. He has fantastic form and jumps with his knees up to his chin! Earl loves hacking out on trails and is fine both by himself or with others - he is not spooky and very adventurous. He's quite sure-footed and has no trouble with rocky terrain, creek crossings, and is super with other horses as well. He is very quiet and easy to handle in the barn, stands quietly in the cross ties, bathes well, loads easily, and is great in new surroundings.
Earl would be suitable for an intermediate junior or adult amateur. He has no vices, is an easy keeper, has great feet, is very healthy and sound, and is ready to start his new career! He would make a fantastic foxhunter, eventer, dressage horse, or Pony Club mount.
